Daily checkers puzzle: one new board every day
Daily is one American checkers puzzle per calendar date in your local time zone. Every player starts from the same position. The opponent is Easy on Monday, Medium Tuesday to Friday, and Hard on Saturday and Sunday.
One board, one date
Open Daily to the calendar hub, pick a date, then tap Play — the address bar stays /daily/american (selected day is client state). The puzzle refreshes at local midnight; replay a day’s board as often as you like while it stays open.
Play any date from 1 Sep 2026 through today (local calendar) on the month grid. A win leaves a gold star. Finishing without a win leaves an outline star. Under the month title, a star counts wins in that month, such as 9/30.
- There is no difficulty toggle. Monday is Easy, Tuesday through Friday are Medium, and the weekend is Hard.
- Undo and Hint work like free play on the home page.
- Dates before 1 Sep 2026 stay locked on the calendar; share links still open that day’s board via ?date=.
Sharing results
- A shared result is a spoiler-free line: outcome, moves, and time — never the board or a streak.
- Shared links use /daily/american?date=2026-09-18 so recipients open that day’s board.
Rules match American checkers: mandatory jumps, short kings, promotion ends the turn. Only the opening position is fixed for the date.
Explore other modes
- Anti checkers — giveaway play on the same 8×8 board.
- Pool checkers — backward jumps and flying kings.
