These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Checkerso, Inc. (“Checkerso,” “we,” or “us”) for the website and progressive web app at checkerso.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Checkerso is a free online American checkers game. You can play in a browser or install the site as a progressive web app. No account is required. We do not currently show ads. The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

Game progress, Daily results, and settings such as sound may be stored in your browser with localStorage. That data stays on your device unless you clear it. See our Privacy policy.

Your use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial play. You agree not to:

• break, overload, or interfere with the Service or other players;
• scrape, copy, or frame the site in a way that misrepresents Checkerso;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by applicable law.

Anti checkers is playable English giveaway. Pool is American Pool Checkers. Features may change.

Intellectual property

The Checkerso name, logo, board design, and site content belong to Checkerso, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy the brand or the site for a competing service. American checkers rules are public; our presentation of them is ours.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game, puzzles, or computer opponent are error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by United States law, Checkerso, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, results, or game progress, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). Some states do not allow certain limitations; in those states our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Checkerso, Inc. against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent a claim is caused by our own misconduct.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in the United States have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you a right to sue in your home jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
